Angelo Feletto - Photographer

The Venetian photographer Angelo Feletto (born 1962) has a background in glass industry and child psychology. Since his early twenties he has been an indefatigable hiker, exploring on foot the steep mountains of his native Veneto as well as Mount Athos in Greece, the Moroccan Rif, the Indian Himalayas and the cliffy shores of Brazil. To counterbalance the heights he learned to row the gondola, which set him on his way to portray traditional regattas and capture the life at the canals and the architectural scenery of the city from the water. His work is intuitive, creative, and emotionally perceptive, images often representing nothing else than a mood or making visible an otherwise unobserved detail. He publishes his images in books of limited edition, printed at his own workshop.
